Since opening in 1963, the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame has seen millions of visitors walk through its hallowed halls to pay tribute to the legendary heroes of professional football. Every year, the nation watches as a new class of enshrinees are inducted during an incredible celebration of sporting history, including a nationally televised football game and week-long enshrinement festival. Drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to Canton every year, this is an event not to be missed!

The McKinley National Monument is a majestic domed structure that towers over beautiful park-lands just outside downtown Canton. Open year-round from dawn until dusk, the McKinley Monument is an architectural marvel that is worth exploring. The final resting place of both President William McKinley and his wife, First Lady Ida McKinley, the monument serves as a source of pride for Canton residents.

The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum are a stone's throw away from the monument located just outside downtown Canton. With a miniature 1800's town, the largest collection of McKinley artifacts in the world, and a science museum and discovery center for children, there is something for every family member at the McKinley Museum.


 


 


National First Ladies Library and Research Center - www.firstladieslibrary.org
Founded in 1995 and expanded several times since, the National First Ladies Library has brought further historical acclaim to the City of Canton as the only facility dedicated to the lives of America's First Ladies. With ribbon-cuttings at every step of the way by former First Ladies Rosalynn Carter (1998) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (1999), as well as the dedication of the newest facility in 2003 by First Lady Laura Bush, this historical museum is a must-see for women and men of all ages.
